‘Work It’ Spoilers, news, trivias and more
Work it seems to make an effort to transport the viewers back into the world of Milton Berle. The jokes and any other attempts at creating a comic atmosphere seem totally misplaced in today’s world. It is a reminder of the world when comedy was seeing men dressed up as women and wearing make up. This theme and script is politically all wrong in a world where women are shoulder to shoulder with men in every field of life be it acting, politics, or any other field.

Work It is an attempt at comedy that seems offensive to comedy lovers in general. Its humor is lack luster and jokes at times could be in a very bad taste. It could easily insult the transgender community as well as women due to its substandard characterization and disgusting jokes. Men are shown dressed up as women, and they are out job hunting in a pharmaceutical company. These men may be compared to pushy women or frustrated wives. These are women who stay at home and take care of their children. Their husbands think nothing of them and may ignore them forever, as they know, they are waiting for them and can easily be won back.
This show should never have gone on air. Cougar Town is a much better option, which has been ignored by ABC’s big bosses for a long time now. They have wasted their time and resources in marketing Work It, as this is all about to go down the drain. Courtney Cox and her team deserve a better chance.
